PS5 WebKit Cache Remover is a new payload developed by developer vladimir-cucu to completely delete the WebKit browser cache present in the PlayStation 5 console’s file system .
This cache, located in directories assigned to each user, may contain corrupted or obsolete data that hinders the proper loading of exploits or other payloads, especially after using incorrect DNS or incompatible tools.
The payload was built using the latest version of the ps5-payload-sdk development kit and was tested on consoles running firmware 4.51, using the WebKit-based UMTX2 exploit, which uses a use-after-free vulnerability to gain access to the kernel.
To launch it, you need to manually send it to the console via NetCat, specifying the PS5 IP address and the loader’s ELF port. For example:nc -v -q 0 192.168.1.5 2020 < PERCORSO_PAYLOAD
