A quick update has been released for the PS5 BDJB Modified ISO , the ISO image specifically designed for firmware versions 6.xx and 7.xx of the PlayStation 5 console .

Among the main new features, the management of “usb pipes” has been removed, now superfluous thanks to the support of updated versions of etaHEN that can be booted directly from USB.

Additionally, the automatic disk closing mechanism has been restored for firmware up to version 4.51.

Finally, support for automatic booting of etaHEN from multiple paths has been introduced, following a specific order: first from the root of the USB (if the file is present etaHEN.bin), then from the directory /dataand, in the absence of both, from the disk.

Guide

To use the updated image, simply burn the latest ISO image to a BD disc using ImgBurn , insert it into your PS5, and select a pipeline (the first one is recommended).

Once the process is complete, a notification will appear prompting you to close the disc drive. Once you do, etahen will automatically load when you return to the main screen.

If the etahen toolbox does not appear, you can re-inject it via ItemzFlow .
