A new update for PS5 SELF Decrypter has been released , the payload developed by developer idlesauce allows us to decrypt SPRX and SELF files contained in the PlayStation 5 console . These files include system binaries, libraries and games, all protected by encryption.

The payload supports all firmwares between version 3.xx and version 7.xx, while its main function is to dump the path /mnt/sandbox/pfsmntinside the directory /data/dumpin the internal storage of the PS5 console.
To monitor the process and verify that the operation was successful, users can use socat to receive logs of the procedure.
When the operation is complete, the message “[+] done” should appear in the log , confirming the completion of the dump. The command to start the process is:socat -t 99999999 - TCP:<IP della PS5>:9021 < ps5-self-decrypter.elf
This new release only brings a fix for firmware 7.00-7.01 offsets.
