The Homebrew Store provides easy access to a wide range of homebrew content, responding to an increasing need at a time when Xbox Live services for Xbox 360 are disused and official content delivery systems are shut down.
This project, realized thanks to the experience with Lua and the script system of the Aurora dashboard, uses the Cheato content distribution system of the Alpha Archive as its basis.
The store currently hosts a wide range of content for Xbox 360, including homebrew games, apps, dashboards, and emulators.
The content is automatically downloaded and installed in the location specified in the Aurora settings, or in a predefined location depending on the content type.
The system also offers an option in the GUI to connect to external repositories, allowing anyone to host their repository.
This system also proves to be versatile and not only to games, apps and emulators; it can also be used for game mods, custom maps and user-generated files, such as Halo 3 maps and games.
To download the Homebrew Store, you can open the Aurora dashboard, select the appropriate options in the Scripts menu, and the script will be downloaded automatically.
Alternatively, you can download the files directly from the ConsoleMods wiki and insert them into the script folder in: hdd1:\Aurora\User\Scripts\Utility. .
