universal media server 14.5.0 release

The SubJunk developer has released a new update to The Universal Media Server on the patreonreleasing version 14.4.0 of the media

server. .

Among the main innovations introduced in this version we find the support for the search for RadioBrowser metadata for audio streams and support for nested playlists.

Several problems have been corrected, such as the video not marked as fully reproduced when interrupted and that of the non-functioning automatic update.

Fixed it also transcoding on some media players, improved video quality and corrected a problem of FFmpeg that did not refer correctly to tsMuxeR.

Support for remuxing of video streams and AAC audio streams in PS3 video files has also improved and different aspects of translations through Crowdin, with Turkish 100% completed.

Finally, a number of dependencies have been updated to improve server security and performance, such as [mantine/core” (from 7.11.2 to 7.12.1), playwright/test (1.46.0 to 1.46.1), axios (+1.7.2 to 1.7.4), and other essential project libraries.

Navigation DLNA

  • Filter by Progress contains the Watched and Unwatched folders that were previously in the Videos folder in the Media Library.
  • Filter by Information allows you to filter videos based on a rich new set of metadata (actors, genres, country, director, genre, IMDb rating, release date).
• Next to this is a similar folder Filter by Informationwhich allows you to filter videos according to API metadata (actors, genres, etc.).

Web interface
