Developer exelix11 has updated the exefs patches that allow streaming of sysdvr -incompatible games to be compatible with the recent Switch firmware update.

The patches also allow you to capture screenshots and videos within any game, as well as bypassing annoying screenshot blocks and copyright texts.

Installation

Download the archive dvr-patches.zipand extract it to your SD card, then reboot your console. Streaming should now work.
Every time you install a new firmware update you will likely have to download a new version of these patches which may not be immediately available, check the commit messages to find out when support for a new firmware is added.

Game Compatibility

Most games appear to run fine, but some may have issues or crashes. For a list of such issues, see the issues tab .

If you are experiencing any malfunctions or crashes with your TitleID 01000000000000023, this is likely the cause, you can report the issues, but there is no guarantee that they will be fixed.

Technical stuff

What do these patches do?

Currently only the AM sysmodule is patched, the following changes are made:

All games that do not support recording will behave as if they have auto-recording enabled in the nacp.
All games will have screenshots enabled in the nacp.
Am code flow is adjusted to avoid crashes when memory allocation for auto-registration fails.
The function to block recording in some sections of the game is blocked.
As a nice bonus, the feature used by games to load an overlay image is blocked.
