Save Transfer Wizard is a program developed by developer rajeshca911 designed to simplify the transfer of game saves between a PlayStation 5 console and a Windows PC.

With an intuitive interface and powerful features, this tool allows users to easily copy, upload and delete game saves via FTP protocol.

Limitations

Windows Compatibility Only : Works exclusively on PCs with Windows operating system.
Need to enable FTP server on PS5 : Requires FTP server to be enabled on the console, which may require technical knowledge to set up.
Loading ps5debug.elf : A specific file ( ) needs to be loaded ps5debug.elfonto your PS5 to enable some features.

Guide

To transfer decrypted saves from PS5 to PC and vice versa, follow these steps:

Enable FTP server on your PlayStation 5 console through one of the many homebrew applications.
Note the IP address shown on the screen (e.g. 192.168.1.101) and the FTP port (e.g. 1337, 2121or 21).
Download the file ps5debug.elf(a payload required to enable some debugging features on the PS5) and upload it to the PS5 environment. This step may require advanced setup, such as using PS5-specific exploits or tools.
Launch the desired game on the PS5, so that the save is accessible.
Run Save Transfer Wizard on your PC.
Enter your PS5’s IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.101) and FTP port (e.g. 1337) into the tool’s connection settings.
Click the Connect button to establish the connection between your PC and PS5.
If desired, you can add additional directory paths to the file ComboMountedPaths.txtto customize the access paths.
The tool will automatically populate the drop-down lists with available users and save data. Select the desired save and click Mount to mount it.
Click the Download/Upload button to open the download window.
Select the folder of the mounted save and click Download.
The save will be downloaded directly to the Desktop in the directory: Desktop\SaveTransfer\Import\sandbox0.
Once the process is completed, the folder will open automatically.

Edit save

Modify the downloaded save to your liking using a save editor, for example. Once you’re done, click the Upload button to reload the modified save to your PS5.

Dismantle rescue

After loading the save, click the Unmount button in the tool. This step is important to avoid problems.

Reload game

Restart the game on your PS5 to apply the changes to your save.

Transferring Encrypted Saves or Profiles

To transfer encrypted or user-linked saves, follow these steps:

Downloading the save :

Enable FTP server on PS5.
Enter the console IP address and port in the Save Transfer Wizard.
Click Get Users to get the list of users.
Select the desired user profile from the drop-down list.
Select the save you want to download and click Download.
The save will be downloaded to the directory: Desktop\SaveTransfer\Import.

Uploading the save:

Enable FTP server on PS5.
Enter the IP address and port of the console.
Click Get Users and select the user profile.
Click the Upload button.
Browse your PC to select the save you want to upload and click Upload.

Deleting the save:

Enable FTP server on PS5.
Enter the IP address and port of the console.
Click Get Users and select the user profile.
Select the save you want to delete.
Click Delete and confirm the deletion.

Exploring Console Directories (FTP Mode)

Save Transfer Wizard also includes an advanced mode to explore PS5 directories via FTP:

Enter your PS5’s IP address and FTP port (e.g. 1337, 2121or 21) into the program.
Click Connect to start the FTP session.
Once connected, the program will display a tree interface (TreeView) that will allow you to explore the internal directories of the PS5, as if it were a file manager.
Navigate to your save location (e.g. /mnt/sandbox/).
Select the desired folder and click Download to download it to your PC for backup or modding.

Important Notes

Please make sure the file ps5debug.elfis uploaded correctly and your FTP server is enabled before proceeding.
Make sure you are using the correct IP address and port to avoid connection issues.
Since version 2.0 of Save Transfer Wizard, a built-in FTP browser has been added to improve navigation.
