Coming in holiday 2025 in select markets including the U.S., Europe, Japan, and more, these devices represent a collaboration that brings together Microsoft’s gaming expertise and ASUS’ portable console innovation.

The new ROG Xbox Ally delivers on this vision, enabling gaming both locally and via the cloud or remote connection to an Xbox console, all on a single device.
ROG Xbox Ally is designed for a broad audience, from casual gamers to enthusiasts, offering great value for money, while ROG Xbox Ally X is aimed at hardcore gamers, with superior specifications to maximize performance.
Both devices are powered by AMD processors: the base model comes with a Ryzen Z2 A, 16GB of LPDDR5X-6400 RAM , and a 512GB SSD , while the Ally X boasts a Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, 24GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM , and a 1TB SSD .
They share a 7-inch Full HD 120Hz display with FreeSync Premium and Gorilla Glass Victus , ensuring sharp, smooth images.
The Ally X stands out for its impulse triggers, an 80 Wh battery compared to the base model’s 60 Wh, and a slightly higher weight (715 g versus 670 g).
