A first update has been released for PS5 Payload Loader , the tool developed by developer cy33hc , which allows us to load executable files in ELF or BIN format from an internal disk or an external USB drive.

This tool is meant to work in conjunction with PS5-Jar-Loader , as some payloads, such as etaHEN and kstuff , can cause crashes if launched directly from the Blu-Ray app.

To set up your system, you’ll need to download the PS5-Jar-Loader ISO image , burn it to a BD-R or BD-RE disc, and boot it through your console’s disc drive, which will launch the utmx exploit , elf-loader , websrv , and ftpsrv payloads .

After this step, you install the Homebrew Launcher Pkg package and upload the Payload Loader app to the directory /data/homebrewvia FTP connection.

Once the installation is complete, you can launch the Homebrew Launcher and select the “Payload Loader” function to run the pre-included payloads such as etaHEN-2.0b , kstuff-1.4 and ftpsrv-0.11.3 .

The current update does not introduce any new features, but is limited to a repackage of the tool that integrates etaHEN updated to version 2.1b .
