The developer cy33hc , already known for the ezRemote clients on PlayStation consoles and Nintendo Switch , has created a new app, known as PS5 Homebrew Loader , the tool allows us to load executable files in ELF or BIN format from an internal disk or an external USB drive.

This tool is meant to work in conjunction with PS5-Jar-Loader , as some payloads, such as etaHEN and kstuff , can cause crashes if launched directly from the Blu-Ray app.

To set up your system, you’ll need to download the PS5-Jar-Loader ISO image , burn it to a BD-R or BD-RE disc, and boot it through your console’s disc drive, which will launch the utmx exploit , elf-loader , websrv , and ftpsrv payloads .
After this step, you install the Homebrew Launcher Pkg package and upload the Payload Loader app to the directory /data/homebrewvia FTP connection.
Once the installation is complete, you can launch the Homebrew Launcher and select the “Payload Loader” function to run the pre-included payloads such as etaHEN-2.0b , kstuff-1.4 and ftpsrv-0.11.3 .
In day-to-day use, you simply insert the disc, launch the PS5 JAR Loader , and run the main payloads before going into the Homebrew app to load the desired executables.
Adding or updating payloads is done by simply transferring the files to the folder /data/homebrew/payload-loader/payloadsvia FTP, where they will be automatically detected and made available in the app menu.
