A quick update has been released for the PS5 BDJB Modified ISO , the ISO image specifically designed for firmware versions 6.xx and 7.xx of the PlayStation 5 console .

This new version aims to further improve the speed and stability of the system, in particular thanks to the modification of the Umtx1 module, which is now able to boot more quickly (usually in a range between 5 and 20 seconds).

General stability improvements have also been made, some minor bug fixes have been fixed, and the BDJ Hen loader has been updated, courtesy of BenNoxXD.

The main payloads have also received updates: Websrv.jar has been updated with a new version of the file websrv.elfand made more stable, Ftpsrv.jarit now contains the latest version of ftpsrv.elf, while Elfloader.jarit has been updated with the new elfldr.elf.

Installation and use instructions

Download the latest ISO image.
Burn the ISO image to a Blu-ray disc using programs such as ImgBurn (available for Windows). Make sure you use a compatible disc (BD-R or BD-RE).
Set the writing speed to a low value (e.g. 2x or 4x) to ensure burning quality.
Connect your PS5 to Wi-Fi or Ethernet (some components may require a temporary connection to charge).
Insert the burned Blu-ray disc into your PS5. The console should automatically recognize it and launch the BDJB Modified ISO interface.
Select pipeline:
Upon boot, the ISO will present a menu with several “pipelines” (exploit configurations). Generally, the first pipeline is the one recommended for most users, as it is optimized for stability and compatibility.
If you encounter problems, try alternative pipelines or consult the specific documentation for your firmware.
Once the pipeline is selected, the UMTX1 exploit will run. Wait about 20-30 seconds for it to complete.
If successful, the PS5 will load the etaHEN 2.1 environment, from which you will be able to access homebrew tools or custom features.
