A quick update has been released for the PS5 BDJB Modified ISO , the ISO image specifically designed for firmware versions 6.xx and 7.xx of the PlayStation 5 console .

This release introduces several optimizations aimed at improving the user experience. The umtx1 module has been modified to offer significantly faster execution times, now reduced to around 20–30 seconds.

Additionally, a rollback to etaHEN version 2.1 was performed , after version 2.2b had stability issues. The menu interface also received a graphical and functional improvement, thanks to the contribution of developer DriveRick.

Installation and use instructions

Download the latest ISO image.
Burn the ISO image to a Blu-ray disc using programs such as ImgBurn (available for Windows). Make sure you use a compatible disc (BD-R or BD-RE).
Set the writing speed to a low value (e.g. 2x or 4x) to ensure burning quality.
Connect your PS5 to Wi-Fi or Ethernet (some components may require a temporary connection to charge).
Insert the burned Blu-ray disc into your PS5. The console should automatically recognize it and launch the BDJB Modified ISO interface.
Select pipeline:
Upon boot, the ISO will present a menu with several “pipelines” (exploit configurations). Generally, the first pipeline is the one recommended for most users, as it is optimized for stability and compatibility.
If you encounter problems, try alternative pipelines or consult the specific documentation for your firmware.
Once the pipeline is selected, the UMTX1 exploit will run. Wait about 20-30 seconds for it to complete.
If successful, the PS5 will load the etaHEN 2.1 environment, from which you will be able to access homebrew tools or custom features.
