A first update has been released for remotePad , the GoldHEN plugin developed by developer xfangfang that allows us to control a jailbroken PlayStation 4 via network or USB.
The update improves compatibility with Firefox and Chrome browsers, streamlines game support, and introduces new features for the HTML client, such as gamepad vibration, keyboard mapping, and improved touch support.
To install it, you need to place the file remote_pad.prxin the folder /data/GoldHEN/pluginsand configure it following the instructions of the GoldHEN Plugins project .
Once installed correctly, when you start a game you will see a notification with the server address for remotePad . By connecting to this address via a browser on your smartphone or PC, you will be able to control the console remotely.
The plugin also allows you to connect third-party controllers, which can be used to interact with the console through the web page.
The plugin’s behavior can be changed via the configuration file /data/GoldHEN/remote_pad.ini. Global settings go under the section [default], while game-specific settings go under [GameID].
You can configure the name of virtual users, assign drivers to controllers, and disable some of them.
To improve compatibility with certain games, you can create a new user on the console and assign it a userIdspecific ID in the configuration file, using tools like Apollo Save Tool to retrieve the ID and convert it from hexadecimal to decimal.
For use with multiple simulated users, you must log in as a new user, launch the game with the primary account, and repeat the process on each restart.
