A new update has been released for PS4PKGInstaller , the tool developed by CiborgEc that allows us to easily manage and install game packages (PKGs) on jailbroken PlayStation 4 consoles.

It also includes a handy uninstall function for packages installed on external storage, allowing for more organized and flexible management of storage space.

Among the most notable fixes is the resolution of a bug that in some cases led to the uninstallation of the base game when installing a DLC, an issue that could compromise the user experience.

The developer also reminds you of an important detail: if a package is moved to a USB stick, you must use the uninstall system integrated into PS4PKGInstaller or, alternatively, disconnect the external drive before proceeding with the removal from the console’s main menu.

Otherwise, you may experience problems with the files. Currently, packages are transferred into the folder PS4_APPS, but an improvement is planned that will allow the uninstaller to automatically restore them to their original location.
