Apollo Save Tool can be installed both by those who have a Custom Firmware and by those who run PS3HEN , this means that the application works on all models, FAT, Slim and Superslim.

With this new version, support for cloud backup of save states via FTP server has been introduced.

Users can now compress saves, upload and download them directly from a custom FTP server, and view a list of files available for restore.

Backup is no longer limited to PS3 games but also includes saves from PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 titles . The HDD copy function has been improved for greater efficiency.

New parameters have been added to the settings menu: you can now define the FTP server URL, select the save download source between FTP and online database, choose the USB source, and keep a persistent debug mode active for the log.

Additionally, the “Save Owner” option has been removed to simplify the interface. On the technical front, Apollo Patch Engine has been updated to version 1.3.0.

Advanced features such as the djb2 hash function and support for custom tags in .txt files have been added .savepatch, allowing you to associate specific options with certain values within your save (for example, directly setting the amount of items or money in the game).

Finally, support for SaveWizard and BSD codes has been integrated with multiple options, offering more flexibility to more advanced users.

Installation

No special configuration is required. Simply download the latest package apollo-ps3.pkgand install it on your PlayStation 3. Upon first launch, the application will automatically detect and configure the required settings.

Guide

Press and to select the save game file you want to patch and press . The patch screen will show the available fixes for the file. Select the patch and click Apply .
To see the item details, press . The context menu will open on the screen. Press to return to the list.
To reload the list press .
Press the left and or right trigger buttons and to move pages up or down.

Notes

USB Rescue: Files must be located on /dev_usb000/PS3/SAVEDATA/or /dev_usb001/PS3/SAVEDATA/.

Online database

The application also provides direct access to the Apollo online database of PlayStation 3 game save files. These usually offer additional features such as completed games that can save you many hours of gaming.

Currently, the list of available games and files is limited, but the project aims to add more community-shared saves.

Note: Downloaded save files must be patched using Apollo before loading them into games.
