A new update has been released for GodMode9i , the homebrew application, similar to GodMode9 on 3DS consoles, which gives us full access to the files contained within the DS and DSi consoles .

The tool can be run on any console that supports a flashcard or runs custom firmware. It also supports the Nintendo 2DS/3DS console when run through TWiLight Menu++ .

The update introduces a significant new feature for those using a DSi or 3DS console: you can now take advantage of all of the expanded RAM available, which is 768KB of the DSi’s WRAM plus 32KB of shared WRAM , providing more operating space for the app.
However, this advanced feature is not active if GodMode9i is booted via Memory Pit , an alternative boot method.
Among other new features, an error message has been added that warns the user when the SD card is full when dumping files.
Additionally, the ability to remount the flashcard’s SD card when using GodMode9i from a flashcard in Slot-2 has been reintroduced. Finally, translation files have been updated for several languages, improving the user experience for an international user base.
