A new update of Kodi, the most famous open source media player, is appreciated, especially for its presence on Xbox consoles.

Kodi can also manage a multitude of plugins, some licensed granted that allow you to stream movies, sports broadcasts, TV shows, and even adult content.

With Kodi you can also run emulators through the game APIs that exploit Libretro as Wrapper and that makes itself 1:1 compatible with the libretro APIs, while all Libretro cores can be worn as game add-ons.

Libretro itself is a well-defined cross-platform platform interface to manage communication between a frontend (Kodi with RetroPlayer) and an Emulator Core (e.g. Nestopia).

Several bug fixes from the initial release of Omega 21.0 that also include performance improvements, troubleshooting different platforms such as Android, macOS and Xbox, and specific fixes for various software components such as video management, user interface, and audio system.

Some major changes include crash resolution, improvements in graphical rendering and network functionality, and updates to ensure smoother installation on Android devices.
