pfeMAME is a graphical front end for MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) , written in Python using the wxPython library. Designed to be cross-platform , it runs on Linux (Ubuntu), Windows (7, 8, 10, 11) and macOS , offering an intuitive and customizable interface for arcade emulation enthusiasts.
Developed by Gareth Finch since 2014 , pfeMAME was created with the goal of providing a simple, well-documented and easy-to-use interface, without the complexity of rarely used advanced options. While it does not expose all the features of MAME, it includes all the options most relevant to day-to-day use.
