new update has been released for DualSenseY , the free and open-source application designed for those who want to control, configure and customize the Sony DualSense controller on Windows systems as much as possible.

It is not related to the DSX project , but was born as an independent alternative, carried forward out of passion. Among its main features are full support for LEDs, adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, touchpad, gyroscope, and even the ability to take screenshots using the microphone button.

It also allows you to connect multiple controllers at the same time and easily emulate Xbox 360 or DualShock 4 profiles, which is rare in free solutions.

You can configure triggers (e.g. as mouse clicks), adjust deadzones, map the gyro to the mouse or right stick, and use the touchpad as a laptop touchpad or as an input for haptic feedback.

Adaptive triggers can be managed in advanced ways, with hard modes, custom intensity and rumble response.

Controller lighting can be adjusted to match battery level, turned into “disco” mode with animated effects, or synchronized with the audio playing. Additionally, you can save custom configurations and styles for each controller and carry them with you between sessions.

The app also supports advanced audio functions, such as adjusting the controller speaker volume or converting system audio into haptics. In terms of quick commands, the microphone button can be used to change modes, activate emulation, or take screenshots.

This update fixes a deadzone issue , improving movement accuracy, and updates language support to make the app even more accessible.
