A quick update for the online version of CTGP-7 (acronym for C ustom T rack G rand P rex 7), the modpack for Mario Kart 7 made by developer PabloMK7.

The modpack adds a lot of new features to the game, custom tracks and including numerous extra features. It can be used on any

3DSwith Custom Firmware. The update introduced support for the new version 13.2 ofLuma3DS.

Instructions for the installation

To play CTGP-7, make sure you have the Custom Firmware installed and the version of the 3DS system is 11.4 or higher. The mod has an automatic updater, so you don’t need to reinstall everything with every update.

Method 1: Direct installation by a 3DS

This method can be used to install the mod if you do not have access to a device to copy files to the SD card. You need an internet connection on the 3DS

console. .

Due to the slow internet connection of the 3DS, this method can take some time to complete.

1. Run FBI, then go to Remote Installation and finally QR Code. Scan the following QR code:

1. After the installation is complete, open the CTGP-7 Downloader app and follow the steps. This process may take some time.
2. Once the download is complete and the application is closed, the mod will be installed.

Method 2: Using a PC for installation

This method requires a PC with a supported operating system or a working Python installation.

1. Download the appropriate PC installer for your operating system. If the operating system is not present, you can use Python files directly, but be sure to install the dependencies listed in the README file.
2. Insert the 3DS SD card into your computer. Make sure it is accessible before proceeding to the next step.
3. Run the installer and a GUI will open. From this GUI you can choose the folder where your 3DS SD card is located (normally, it is detected automatically).
4. Press the installation button and wait for the installation to complete.
5. Reinsert the SD card in the 3DS, go to the FBI, navigate to SD, then on CTGP-7 and finally on the go. Select the cia file and press Install. Alternatively, open the Homebrew Launcher and launch the CTGP-7 application.

Uninstallation

To uninstall the mod, go to the FBI, then Titles, from the list select CTGP-7 and choose delete the title. After that, you can also delete the CTGP-7 folder on the SD card as well as the 3dsx file inside the 3ds folder if it exists.

If you want you can make a backup of your own save data, be sure to make a copy of the folder savefsfound inside the CTGP-7 folder before deleting it.
