A quick update for DroidPPPwn has been released , the Android app developed by the deviant developer that allows us to run the PPPwn exploit on PlayStation 4 consoles using a smartphone.
With this release all files are updated stage2.binto version 1.05 , introducing support for the latest version of the GoldHEN payload , 2.4b18.5.
This work extends the compatibility of the exploit, allowing it to run on the remaining firmware versions of the 7.xx, 8.xx and 9.xx series , further expanding the possibilities for users who wish to unlock their consoles.

Requirements
- A rooted Android device with a minimum Android KitKat 4.4 build.
- A USB OTG cable or adapter.
- A USB Ethernet adapter (you can buy it on Amazon ).
- An Ethernet cable.
- Alternatively, if your device has a built-in Ethernet port, you can use that, as is the case with Android TV boxes.
Instructions
- Download the latest release from the repository and install it on your Android smartphone.
- Set up the Ethernet connection on your PS4 following the original PPPwn instructions.
- Launch the DroidPPPwn application and select your PS4 firmware.
- Press the Start button on the app and the button
on the controller at the same time when on the Test Internet Connection screen. - Wait for the exploit to reach stage 4 and for the message to be printed to the monitor.
- If the exploit fails, press the Start button again to stop it and repeat the last step.
