A quick update has been released for the PS5 BDJB Modified ISO image , specifically designed for firmware versions 6.xx and 7.xx of the PlayStation 5 console .

This update focuses mainly on stability and system optimization, fixing several issues. In particular, general bugs have been fixed, general stability has been improved, and issues related to the console turning off have been resolved.

Additionally, loading times have been significantly reduced, making startup and overall usage much quicker.

Some components considered superfluous have also been removed: the umtx2 pipelines , now considered useless since umtx1 offers better performance and greater stability, and ftpsrv , which has become obsolete thanks to the integration of the same functionality into etahen .

To use the updated image, simply burn the latest ISO image to a BD disc using ImgBurn , insert it into your PS5, and select a pipeline (the first one is recommended).

Once the process is complete, a notification will appear prompting you to close the disc drive. Once you do, etahen will automatically load when you return to the main screen.

If the etahen toolbox does not appear, you can re-inject it via ItemzFlow .
