WiiUDownloader is an application developed in Go language that allows you to download Wii U games directly from Nintendo servers .

The program features an intuitive graphical interface, built using GTK, that allows you to browse, search and download Wii U titles to your local device.

In addition to simple download, the software supports decryption of downloaded content, making it usable directly on the Wii U console .

Among the main features are the ability to search for games, updates, DLC, demos and more, as well as managing a download queue with batch support, you can decrypt content after downloading and, if desired, automatically delete encrypted files.

The interface allows you to filter titles by name, ID, or type (game, update, DLC, demo, all), as well as by region (Japan, USA, Europe). The user can add multiple titles to the queue, which will be downloaded in a single session.

The program also offers a tools section that allows decryption of already downloaded content, in case it has not been done previously.

It should be noted that the use of the software must comply with the applicable legal regulations and copyrights. Downloading protected content without authorization may constitute a violation of the law.

WiiUDownloader is distributed under the GPLv3 license and relies on several open source libraries, such as the Go bindings for GTK+3.

Usage

Double-click the downloaded binary file to launch WiiUDownloader .
Open the program’s graphical window, with a list of available Wii U titles.
Use the search bar to filter titles by name or ID.
Click the category buttons to filter titles by type (Game, Update, DLC, Demo, All).
Select the checkboxes to choose your region(s) (Japan, USA, Europe).
Click the “Add to queue” button to add the selected titles to the download queue. If the titles are already in the queue, the button will display “Remove from queue”.
Click the “Download queue” button to choose where to save the downloaded games. The program will start downloading the titles in the queue.
If you enable the “Decrypt contents” option, the program will automatically decrypt downloaded files, you can choose to delete encrypted files after decryption (optional).
If you already have downloaded but undecrypted files, go to Tools > Decrypt Contents and select the folder to decrypt.
