A new update for HDL Batch Installer has been released , the tool allows us to batch install games to the PS2’s internal hard drive and some game management utilities.

The idea behind HDL Batch Installer is to combine the strengths of each program that serves the same purpose while just like HDL Dump batch script , this program will automatically search for the game title for the ISO image you are about to install.

The program also features a large internal database (it is also possible to use an external database), while if the program cannot find the game title in the Database (or if the Database is disabled) the name of the ISO file (without extension) is assigned as the title.

This new version introduces several improvements and fixes. The UI has been updated with the wxWidgets 3.2.6 library, which now uses a modular structure with DLLs instead of a static link.

Also added a progress indicator to the toolbar icon when installing games, and fixed a bug in the PFS file browser that caused errors to be incorrectly reported when transferring to HDD.

The list of installed games now shows the total count of titles present. Additionally, HDD management no longer depends on WMIC.EXE, replaced with Win32 APIs to ensure compatibility with Windows 11 and future versions.

Finally, support for the 32-bit version of the software was removed due to toolchain limitations and lack of maintenance time.
